• Siding, Trim, Windows, and Door Framing

• Deck Framing and Boards

• Posts and Beams

• Roofs, Eaves, and Near Damaged Gutters

• Kitchen and Bathroom Floors and Walls

• Foundations, Sill Plates, Cripple Walls, and Crawl Spaces

Common Indicators

• Structure feels soft and spongy.

• You may notice the presence of a strong musty or fungal smell and/or the presence of a fine

       brown dust across the structures surface.

• Wood may appear to be darker than surrounding wood, have cracking and will crumble easily.

• Deep cracks running across the wood grain with potential evidence of mycelium fungus growth.

• Wood can easily be penetrated by a screwdriver or similar tool.
